On 6th August 2025, we the Student Council 2025-26 organised the Inter House English Singing Competition for Std 7th to 10th. The preparation for the same started weeks in advance with first taking the auditions of participants and selecting one candidate from each house under the categories - Solo Junior, Solo Senior and Duet.
On the day of the competition, we began by welcoming and introducing our judges Ms. Vian and Ms. Swetlana to our students. With a quick mention of important rules to be followed, we started our competition. The performances under each category was just phenomenal. The judges and Sr. Arockia appreciated the efforts and talents of our participants. We are proud to announce the fantastic winners.
Solo Junior category, ‘Aiden Pires’ (Xavier) , Solo Senior category, ‘Ethan Furtado’ (Xavier) and Duet category, ‘Mark Baretto’ and ‘Brendon Vaz’ (Britto). We also announced the overall house ranking in which the Xavier house was in the lead.
It was indeed a challenging programme to organise. We would like to express our gratitude to Tr. Janice for her constant support and guidance rendered to the student council which helped us to give our best as a team and put up a great show.
