“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
St. Stanislaus High School celebrated International Yoga Day on 20th June, 2026 with great enthusiasm and discipline. The programme was conducted on the School Basketball Court from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the students of Class IX.
The session was led by Mr. Rakesh Pathak, who guided the students through a series of yoga asanas including Tadasana (Mountain Pose), Vrikshasana (Tree Pose), Trikonasana (Triangle Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Vajrasana, and Pranayama. The students actively participated in every activity with great interest and dedication.
The event reflected the spirit of discipline and unity as the NCC cadets participated in their NCC tracksuits, the Scout boys in their Scout uniforms, and the RSP students in their RSP uniforms.
During the session, Sir Pathak emphasized the importance of practising yoga regularly to maintain physical fitness, mental peace, flexibility, and overall well-being. He encouraged the students to make yoga a part of their daily routine and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The programme was exceptionally well organised and witnessed enthusiastic participation from all the students. The celebration concluded on a positive note, leaving everyone inspired to embrace yoga as a way of life and reinforcing the message that a healthy body and a calm mind are the foundations of a successful future.
