
The Marathi Diwas program of the primary section of St. Stanislaus High School was held on 24th February 2026 in the school hall.
Marathi Diwas was celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of a great Marathi Poet Shri V. V. Shirwadkar, popularly known as Kusumagraj.
To mark the day, a special program was organized for the students of the Primary sections. The program began with an introduction of Marathi Diwas followed by a prayer.
Students from primary section recited beautiful poems and expressed their feelings in Marathi. To showcase Marathi culture the students of Std. 4 performed beautiful Maharashtrian dances. With an aim to spread love for the Marathi language the famous quotes of Kusumgraj was shown through a video.
This was followed by a Powerpoint presentation depicting Marathi culture. The students of Std 1 to 4 received their prizes for best behaviour. Adding to the celebration, the Std 1 students presented two beautiful dances which carried the day and left a lasting impression on everyone present. The morning program ended with a vote of thanks by Tr. Raynah Lemos.
