To show our appreciation to the parents of our students, we at St Stanislaus had organized a fun activity for the parents on 22nd July 2023 in school. The parents had a choice to participate in either ‘Salad Preparation’ or ‘Cupcake Decoration’ competition. It was such joy to see the parents come forward to participate.
‘God gave us parents to always feel His love around us.’
The morning began with a prayer and a warm welcome by our headmistress, Mrs. Jennifer Pereira. The parents were then given an hour in which they had to complete the activity. Each parent participated enthusiastically and creatively put forth their best. It was a wonderful opportunity to see their amazing skills and talent. Their sons too were very happy and excited to see what their parents had prepared. There was a variety of salads and cupcakes prepared. Each one so different from the other. They were not only beautifully presented but also tasted very good. Our judges for the competition Ms Larissa Valladares and Ms Andrea Menezes, both who are experienced in this field had a tough time in selecting the winning dishes. After some deliberation they were able to make their decision and the winners were declared. For the Cupcake Decoration it was Mirelle Gouria in 1st place and Pragati Keni in 2nd place. For the Salad Preparation it was Sharon John in 1st place. There was a tie for the 2nd place shared by Anita Menezes and Frank Rodrigues.
After the activity was over the parents enjoyed some snacks and coffee. Before leaving each parent was also given a ‘Fridge Magnet’ as a little token to remember the day.
In addition to the program held for the parents, the boys of each class Also made beautiful Parents’ Day cards for their parents and gave it to their parents on Parents’ Day.
