On 7th September, this year we had a dual celebration. It was the birthday of our Principal, Tr. Anna and the Mount Mary Feast.
The celebration started in the school hall with the prayer service. A poem on Tr. Anna was recited by the students of STD 5, 6, 7. The poem was composed by Tr. Nikita.
Our Manager Rev. Fr. Frazer S.J. spoke a few words about Tr. Anna and her achievements in school as a principal. There was a PowerPoint presentation prepared by Tr. Golda on Tr. Anna’s time spent in the last 4 years at St Stanislaus High School. Sr. Arockia spoke immensely about our Principal. This was followed by a dance performance by the teachers and the students of STD 10th. The dance was choreographed by Mr. Craig D’Mello.
Tr. Anna was escorted to proceed with cutting of the cake. Each class presented a card to Tr. Anna to express their love and gratitude towards her. Tr. Anna then expressed her feelings in her speech and appreciated the programme.
Our supervisor Rev. Fr. Felix S.J. proposed the vote of thanks. Each student was given a snack on the occasion of the principal’s day. The entire staff gathered in the Arupe Hall for the fellowship lunch.
The day was a memorable one.
