Scouts of St Stanislaus High school went for scout camp to Bordi Beach from 5th Nov to 7th Nov.
The Scout Camp was an unforgettable blend of learning, teamwork, and adventure! Scouts eagerly took part in a variety of sessions where they learned the fundamentals of Scouting — from whipping ropes and tying useful knots to mastering different types of lashings with staves. They explored practical skills like using a magnetic compass to find directions, estimating distances, and even turning their scarves into triangular bandages for first aid. Scouts also learned how to make a modified stretcher and identify constellations to locate the North Star — true outdoor survival skills in action!
The fun didn’t stop there. Exciting adventure activities such as rifle shooting, archery, the commando bridge, zipline, and net climbing kept everyone’s spirits high. Each challenge brought out courage, teamwork, and enthusiasm among the Scouts.
As the sun set, the much-awaited campfire lit up the night! Songs, skits, and cheerful laughter filled the air, bringing everyone together in the true spirit of Scouting — friendship, fun, and learning.
The Scout Camp was truly a memorable experience that inspired every participant to live by the Scout motto — Be Prepared!
