“ Go forth and set the world on fire”
These words of St. Ignatius of Loyola was the main focus of our celebrations at St. Stanislaus Primary Section.
The preparation for the feast began on 28th July . The boys were shown videos on the life of Saint Ignatius and The Five Finger Prayer- Examen was also conducted by the teachers. The March of Saint Ignatius was played every day after the short break for two weeks.
On the 30th of July the staff and students came dressed in yellow attire . For the activity students were given the cut out of a candle which they had to decorate and on the flame write two deeds of generosity they would try to abide by in the week ahead. A reflection on the hymn Go Light the World was also conducted .
On 31st July ,the Catholic students of class 3 and 4 attended the Eucharist which was celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop John Rodrigues.
