The 160th Annual Athletic Meet on December 7, 2023, featured Mr. Sajid Sarguroh and Mrs. Salma Khan as Chief Guests, and Mrs. Diana Fernandes as the Guest of Honour. The event included the unfurling of the School Flag, a March Past, races for Juniors, Inters, and Seniors, as well as special races for Ex-Students, Parents, Staff, and exchange students from Germany. Tug-of-War showcased the Kostka House’s victory.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the School Principal, Rev. Sr. Arockia Anthony followed by the Distribution of Prizes in various categories:
The Junior Championship Trophy was awarded to Master Irvin Desmond of the Britto House.
The Damian Sequeira Challenge Cup for Intermediates was presented to Master Zidane Fernandes of the Kostka House.
The St. Stanislaus’ Individual Championship Cup for Seniors was presented to Master Jordan Desmond of the Xavier House.
The Dev Bhatt Trophy for the Most Promising Athlete of the School was awarded to Master Zidane Fernandes of the Loyola House.
The P.T.A. Best Junior Athlete Trophy was awarded to Master Myron Miranda of the Loyola House.
The Shri N.S. Karkarey Trophy for the Best Senior Athlete was awarded to Master Mikhial Miranda of the Loyola House.
The Cyril Cabriel March Past Trophy for the year 2023 – 2024 was presented to the Britto House.
The Rev. Fr. D. Donnelly S.J. Best All Round Sportsman of the School for the year 2023 – 2024 was awarded to Master Jordan Desmond of the Xavier House.
The Kostka Cup for the Winning House was awarded to the Xavier House.
The Sports Scholarship was awarded jointly for the year 2023 – 2024 to Master Samuel Vadval of the Loyola House and Master Dann Extross of the Loyola House.
A special Cash Prize was awarded to Master Sahil Sarguroh for his Outstanding Achievement in Sports.
The National Anthem was sung following which the Athletic Meet was dispersed. The various events witnessed the display of healthy and true sportsmanship among the Stanislites and the other participants.
