Pilgrimage and Xavier house 8th December 2017

Following tradition, Stanislites walked their way to Mount Mary’s Basilica on Friday, 8thDecember 2017 for a Eucharistic celebration.

This pilgrimage is held annually to commemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and to follow the vow Stanislites had taken years ago, when Bandra was scourged by plague. We also celebrated the Feast of our great Jesuit Saint, Saint Francis Xavier.

On 29th November 2017, the Stanislaus Parivar bid farewell to Fr. Andrew Rodrigues S.J. who for 8 years was an integral part of the Stanislaus Parivar

A small farewell programme was conducted by the teachers to show their gratitude and appreciation towards him. The programme started with a prayer service followed by performances by students and teachers.

154th Annual Athletic Meet 2017

The 154th Annual Athletic Meet was held in the morning at 9.15 a.m, on Saturday, 2nd December 2017 on the school grounds.

Chief Guests, Mr. Uday Kadam & Mrs. Neha Kadam, parents of Master Amey Kadam, Sports Captain, and Mr. Dinesh Jain & Mrs. Rita Jain, parents of the Assistant School Sports Captain, Master Naman Jain, were welcomed with a Guard of Honour by the Scouts.

The Chief Guest declared the Meet open after the recitation of the Sportsman’s Oath by the Sports Captain.

English Elocution Competition

Our annual elocution competition was spread over two days, the 27th and the 28th of November, 2017. Our judges for the competition were teachers Milred and Dorris ( For standards 3 and 4) and teachers Calista, a teacher from Bombay Cambridge School, and Steffa, from our secondary section (For standards 1 and 2).

Inter-House Debate Competition 2017

The Inter-House Debate was held on the 25th November 2017. Current and relevant topics were debated by the 4 houses. Putting forward their views and counterviews on whether India should have a uniform education system were the Loyola and Xavier houses. Hotly debating whether CCTV’s should be installed in the classrooms were the Britto and Kostka houses. The feast of St Stanislaus Kostka, Patron Saint of our school and the Kostka House was celebrated on 14th November 2017, with a Eucharistic celebration. Fr. John Cyriac , was the chief celebrant. Manmad Trip

St Stanislaus High School was happy to welcome the students of St Xavier’s High School, Manmad who came to visit Mumbai on November 3rd. Fifty boys and girls along with Brother Wenscel Lemos and two teachers were taken for a Mumbai darshan. They visited the aquarium, Gateway of India, Marine Drive and experienced all the sights and sounds of the metropolis. Children’s Day Primary Section

Children’s day was celebrated in the Primary Section on 14th November 2017, with great enthusiasm. The students were given a lovely surprise as they entered the school premises to the sound of foot tapping music and a mini fair which thrilled them. Each class was allotted a time slot in which every child enjoyed the rides, games as well as jumped on their ever favourite Jumping Jack. The 154th Annual Day Celebrations of St. Stanislaus High School was held on 9th September 2017.
