“The great aim of education is not knowledge but action” – Herbert Spencer
On 24th September 2022, Stanislaus celebrated their 159th Annual Prize Day, with great joy and gusto. It was finally after two long years in lockdown, that we came together to acknowledge and appreciate all the efforts taken by our students.
We began this auspicious event by invoking the presence of God with the lighting of the lamp to the prayer song ‘Tera Mangal, Sabka Mangal’, followed by a prayer dance on the song, ‘You Raise Me Up’, both beautiful displayed by our students.
With this we then began our cultural programme. It was a power-packed combination of not just a meaningful act, but also various dances, singing, the annual report of the year 2021-22 and the oh-so beautiful depiction of the value tree that brought out the true meaning of our theme, ‘Education for Human Excellence’.
And finally, came the most awaited moment of the year, the ‘Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.’ It is rightly said, “Hard work never goes unnoticed, as rewards always follows,” and so, it was time to acknowledge, and honour, all our last year's academic winners with their respective class teachers by their side. The hard work of our students had finally paid off. The happiness and excitement on their faces on receiving prizes will always remain in each one of our hearts and minds.
The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Sr. Arockia who appreciated all big and small contribution of everyone who made this day possible. We then sang our School Anthem to mark the end to this annual event.
A huge shout-out to the entire cast and crew; staff, students, ex-students and parents, who worked tirelessly to make this day a success.
