The feast of St Francis Xavier is celebrated on the 3rd of December every year, however this feast was celebrated on the 4th of December in St. Stanislaus High School. The day began with the annual walking pilgrimage wherein boys from Std. V to X walked from school to Mount Mary Basilica in a prayerful manner. The pilgrimage culminated in celebration of the Holy Eucharist. As St. Francis Xavier is the patron of the blue house, the students of the primary section came to school at 11 am, wearing blue shirts or t-shirts. The boys were first briefed on the life of St. Francis Xavier and this was followed by an activity planned by the teachers and master. The students showed a lot of enthusiasm and enjoyed themselves. This being a non instructional working day, the boys went home early but not without keeping in mind the motto of the blue house ‘Character in Excellence ‘.
