Dr. Keki Gharda visits his Alma Mater

Autographing the novel

Dr. Keki  Gharda (Class of 1941) an octogenarian and an ex-student,  visited his Alma Mater on Tuesday, 13th September 2011.

Dr Gharda is a prominent Indian chemical engineer, chemist and entrepreneur. He is the founder, chairman and managing director of Gharda Chemicals Limited, an R&D-based company with business interests in agrochemicals, polymers and pigments. He got his Chemical engineering degree in 1950 from Bombay University, Masters from University of Michigan and Ph.D from University Of Oklahoma.

As Dr. Gharda walked down memory lane he had small anecdotes to mention about his prime School days to the Principal Fr. Jude Fernandes.

Being a book lover and a voracious reader, he visited the School library and was proud to see it updated. He was also glad to see his Alma Mater a heritage structure still stand out loud and tall.
