Christmas celebration was held on 20th December, 2021 in our school. The celebrations started a week before with competitions like Christmas Decoration Competition and Family Carol Singing Competition where students participated along with their family members.
20th December was indeed a fun-filled day as we were celebrating the birthday of Jesus Christ. The day began with the virtual programme for students. A session called ‘Happy Hour’ was conducted for the students based on the Christmas theme. During this ‘Happy Hour’, there were 5 rounds wherein the first round was the ‘Fancy Dress Competition’. Students were dressed up according to the Christmas theme and the best one was selected. Round 2 was the quiz related to the Bible. Round 3 was ‘Who Am I?’ where riddles were asked based on Christmas and in round 4 emojis were shown to students and they had to identify the Christmas song. Lastly there were spot prizes in round 5. Students participated actively and enjoyed the ‘Happy Hour’. Later a small programme was conducted for the staff and the priests. The programme began with a meaningful prayer service followed by Carol singing and then a few games. The day ended with great joy!
