On 25th November, the school community came together to bid a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Dilip, a cherished member of our school whose unwavering dedication has left an indelible mark on our institution. The event was a celebration of his contribution and a gesture of gratitude for his years of service.
The programme commenced with an address by our respected Manager, Rev. Fr. Luke Rodrigues, who presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Dilip. This was followed by a prayer service, including the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and heartfelt petitions from representatives of the staff and students. A soulful prayer song by the teachers set a serene tone for the proceedings.
Rev. Fr. Luke Rodrigues then delivered a touching speech, highlighting Mr. Dilip’s resilience and selflessness, which have been the cornerstone of his tenure. A series of cultural performances added a special touch, including a shayari by Tr. Sunita, a song by Jayanti Ji, a testimonial by Ratna, a nostalgic video, and a lively dance by our peons.
The celebration also included a cake-cutting ceremony, joined by Mr. Dilip’s family, staff, and PTA members. As a token of appreciation, the PTA presented him with a card, and Sr. Arockia offered a bouquet.
The highlight of the event was Mr. Dilip’s heartfelt speech, where he expressed his gratitude and reflected on his journey with the school. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by our Principal, who emphasized Mr. Dilip’s lasting impact on the school community.
As we bid farewell, we extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Dilip for his remarkable service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.
