“A quiz competition is not just about knowledge, it’s about the thirst for knowledge”
An Inter House Quiz Competition was held for the boys of std 3 and 4 on the 18th of January 2025. Elimination rounds were held prior to the finale and four boys from each house were selected.
The participants prepared themselves on topics covering the areas of English, Science, Geography, Politics, Current affairs etc . There were five rounds namely the Question and Answer Round ,the Audio Visual Round ,the Question Answer Round with the passing of questions, the Puzzle Round and the Rapid Fire Round. A joker card which could double the points if the team answered correctly got the participants motivated. Each round was played with great enthusiasm.
In order to maintain discipline the students in the audience were seated house wise and received points for the same. They were not left out of the competition. They too were asked questions which helped to keep them attentive and maintain the decorum in the auditorium.
The winners were the participants of the Kostka House. Every participant received a certificate. The morning ended with the vote of thanks given by the headmistress,Mrs. Raynah Lemos and the singing of the School Anthem.
