Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola Celebration

The Loyola House Feast at St. Stanislaus High School was celebrated with enthusiasm, spirituality, and a strong sense of community. The day, commemorating the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus, remains a significant annual event for the entire school community. The celebration commenced with a solemn Eucharistic liturgy in the church, presided over by Archbishop John Rodrigues.

The liturgy provided students, teachers, and alumni with an opportunity to contemplate the values and spiritual legacy of St. Ignatius. Special prayers were offered for the well-being of the school and the Jesuit community. Following the spiritual and cultural presentations, a special brunch was organized. Former teachers were invited, fostering a spirit of gratitude and nostalgia.

The brunch provided a platform for mingling among current staff, alumni, and former teachers, reviving cherished memories and strengthening the school’s sense of community. The event concluded with a lively entertainment segment that included musical performances, dance, and light-hearted quizzes.

In conclusion, the Loyola House Feast at St. Stanislaus High School successfully blended spiritual enrichment, creative expression, and joyful fellowship, embodying the school’s motto of “Natus ad Majora” (Born for Greater Things) and its Jesuit heritage.
