One World, One Family – Inter-Religious Prayer Service

St. Stanislaus High School conducted an Inter-Religious Prayer Service on 3rd October, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the School auditorium, centred around the meaningful theme “One World, One Family.” The programme brought together students and staff to reflect on the importance of faith, mutual respect and living together in harmony.

The programme began with an introduction that set the tone for the gathering, reminding us that while our religions and traditions may be different, the values they teach us have much in common. This was followed by a prayer song and the lighting of the lamp, symbolising the light of faith, understanding and unity.

The students then presented a thoughtful skit depicting the importance of different religions and the need to accept and respect our differences. The message was simple and relatable, diversity does not separate us; it gives us an opportunity to learn from one another. This thought flowed naturally into a vibrant dance performance, where different colours represented different religions and came together to create a beautiful picture of unity in diversity.

The spirit of togetherness was further extended through a video presentation on Shramdaan. It highlighted how small acts of responsibility and service, when undertaken collectively, can bring about meaningful change in society.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Principal, acknowledging the efforts of everyone who contributed to making the service meaningful.

The Inter-Religious Prayer Service left us with a simple yet important reflection; we may follow different paths, speak different languages and celebrate different traditions, but we share the same world and the same responsibility towards one another. The theme, “One World, One Family,” was therefore not just the message of the programme, but a reminder of how we can practise respect, acceptance and togetherness in our everyday lives.
