The Feast of St. Stanislaus Kostka and Children’s Day (Primary)

It was a dual celebration in the Primary Section as a programme was held in the live class on the occasion of the feast of St. Stanislaus Kostka as well as Children’s Day.

The celebration began with a beautiful and meaningful prayer service. This was followed by a power point presentation which shed light on the life and works of St. Stanislaus Kostka, the patron saint of our school. The significance and importance of Children’s Day was also explained through the power point presentation.

A video of the teachers dancing to the foot tapping song ‘Iko Iko’ was then played for the children which they immensely enjoyed. What followed next was a fun filled magic show performed by one of the parents which indeed enthralled the children. The children then had to put on their thinking caps as they participated in an engaging and interesting game of riddles. Alongwith the dance, the teachers also put together a beautiful message for the children in a video, showing them how special and unique each one of them are.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt message by our Headmistress Tr. Jennifer Pereira, in which she encouraged the boys to reach out in their small little ways and help those children who are not as fortunate as they are. The Children’s Day was indeed one, wherein beautiful moments and memories were created, which will be etched forever in the minds and hearts of our children.
