Drawing Competition (Primary)

“Drawing is not what one sees but what one can make others see” -Edgar Degas  

A drawing competition was organized for the boys of our Primary section on 29th November, 2024 in the respective classes. The main objective of this competition was to provide a platform for our little budding artists and creative minds to showcase their artistic skills and talents. Clay Modelling Competition (Primary)

The boys of the Primary Section are no doubt very talented, which is shown in different ways every time.

On 14th December all the Little Champs of Standard 1 and 2 participated in a Clay Modelling Competition, wherein the boys of Standard 1 made fruits/vegetables , while the boys of Std 2 made beautiful sea creatures and presented them creatively, thus showing their creative ideas.

Three winners from each class were given certificates for their creativity.

Christmas Celebration (Primary) - Children’s hour

“O, come let us adore him, Christ the Lord”- Keeping in mind this beautiful words of the soulful carol O come all ye faithful…., the boys of class 2 put up a Christmas programme on the 20th of December 2024, in the school hall. 

The programme began with a meaningful prayer service followed by a song of praise, the words of which were beautifully animated by the boys through actions. This was followed by a tableau, where the story of birth of Jesus was narrated and wonderfully enacted by the boys.

Celebration of the Feast of St. Francis Xavier (Primary)

On December 3rd, 2024, the primary section of St. Stanislaus High School celebrated the Feast of St. Francis Xavier. St. Francis Xavier was one of the founding members of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).

In class, the teachers narrated the story of his life making the boys aware of the values of compassion, service, and faith that St Francis Xavier followed. This was followed by an activity. The boys of std 1 and 2 were given a picture of St. Francis Xavier to colour. The boys of Std 3 and 4 were given a puzzle based on St. Francis Xavier to solve. Children's Day Celebration (Primary)

 “Children are the most valuable resource and the best hope for the future” Children’s Day is a special occasion for us at St.Stanislaus High School. This year Children’s Day was celebrated on 16th November 2024 in a unique and fun filled way. The day began with a meaningful assembly conducted by the committee. A brief introduction as to why children’s day is celebrated was given. This was followed by a prayer and a hymn of blessing for the children. The teachers wished the children through the song ‘Happy Children’s Day’.

Good Touch Bad Touch (Primary)

A talk on good touch and bad touch was given to the boys of the primary section on 14th September 2024 in the school auditorium.

The school counselor Ms. Candida prepared an age - appropriate power point presentation on the topic and went through it step by step asking students for their insights into how they would react in a particular situation thus making them aware of how they should behave in any situation should it arise.

Parents Day 2024 (Primary)

“A parent's love is whole, no matter how many times divided.”

Parents’ Day was celebrated on 27th July,2024 at St Stanislaus High School - Primary Section. The celebration begun with a prayer followed by the Sandwich Making Competition arranged for the parents of our students in the school laboratory at 9:30 a.m. The parents participated with immense enthusiasm and interest. They displayed different sandwiches very creatively.

Primary Handwriting Competition 2024

A handwriting competition for the boys of the Primary Section   was held on the 26th August 2024.

All students from Standard 1 to 4 participated in the competition conducted. From each class 5 best handwritings were selected from which 2 students were given Certificates for their best handwritings.

Independence Day 2024 (Primary)

Independence Day was celebrated on 14th August 2024 in thePrimary Section.

Students dressed in traditional clothes made banners/posters on unity in India and carried forward the message through a little walk around the school.  

Children brought traditional snacks and shared with one another. An activity in drawing and craft was conducted in each classroom. The students were asked to draw on Independence Day.

Poetry comes alive to me through recitation
